BEN COMBE

I was born in Framingham Massachusetts on October 16th, 1976, It was a Tuesday. Soon after, my family moved to Holliston Ma. where I remained through High School. I began my music career as a singer, my sister was a bit of a diva for her age so I felt the need to compete. So, I was in chorus, I was a drama geek, I had leading roles in musicals, was in a Barber shop quartet during a brief stint at a swank private school in Chestnut Hill Ma. And was the singer In my first rock band aptly named 'Ego Alley' with Dan B. on guitar. I started playing the guitar in sixth or seventh grade because I liked 80's hair rock, it just seemed to make sense, my father played, and my grandmother was a piano teacher, and at Birthday parties my family would harmonize Happy Birthday, so music was always fun and encouraged. So much so that when I went to Berklee College of Music, I didn't mind doing the homework. Now as I push 30, I still feel the same innocent awe that first inspired me to play, and I feel privaleged to play in a band with these 3 fellows. And it makes me chuckle that Dan and I, after all these years are still sharing the same dream.
